Masters of the Universe (manchmal auch als He-Man- oder She-Ra-Serie bezeichnet) ist eine von Mattel entwickelte Medienserie, die sich mit Schwertern und Planeten befasst. Die Hauptprämisse dreht sich um den Konflikt zwischen He-Man (dem Alter Ego von Prinz Adam) und Skeletor auf dem Planeten Eternia, mit einer großen Anzahl von Nebenfiguren in einem hybriden Setting aus mittelalterlicher Schwert- und Zauberei und Science-Fiction-Technologie. Die Nachfolgeserie She-Ra: Princess of Power dreht sich um He-Mans Schwester She-Ra und ihre Rebellion gegen die Horde auf dem Planeten Etheria. Seit ihrer Einführung hat die Serie eine Vielzahl von Produkten hervorgebracht, darunter mehrere Reihen von Actionfiguren, sechs animierte Fernsehserien, mehrere Comic-Serien, Videospiele, Bücher und Zeitschriften, einen täglichen Zeitungscomic und zwei Spielfilme (ein animierter und ein Live-Action-Film).
